When asked how he spent his spare time, Manguexa innocently stated he lay in bed listening to old Hindi songs on the radio, which was not taken to kindly. In many ways, this instance epitomizes Manguexa’s simplicity and truthfulness, his core worth system which he never compromised. While at IIT, each in the course of the UG and the PG days, my relations with my own dad and mom were very unhealthy and it was a supply of constant mental pain and anguish to me.
